On Saturday we ate at two cool sushi restaurants. One was near where we stay in Ueno and the other was in the Shinjuku area. I have no idea of the names because my Japanese is... well... horrible. I can read the word "Sushi" though so that's handy, except we always see huge pictures of sushi before I find the word sushi on the sign :) The place we had dinner at was underneath a 2nd floor McDonalds, oddly enough, and had a conveyor belt (called Kaiten-type sushi). That was nice so we could pick what we wanted after laying eyes on it. The lunch time place we picked specially priced sets with mixes of rolls and nigiri. It was all very very tasty, especially compared to ... lesser quality... American sushi joints with chewy rice.
