WOW this ride was an experience! I love the classic California version, and this was pretty much the exact same thing, except in Japanese. The guide was amazing, doing silly gestures and running through tons of jokes (likely similar to the ones I know from CA) but we couldn't understand them!! She still did a great job of being entertaining, gesturing for everyone to duck when the elephant threatened to spray us, shooting the gun to scare off the hippos, etc etc. The only different I noticed from the California ride was there was no head hunter on the way back to the dock, he was holding fruit instead! Huh! :) I got this on video too, if anyone who we'll be running into soon would like to watch and be amazed!
